Navitus provides private and secure websites. We protect our clients with security measures. They are among the best in the industry. They include:

  • Firewalls: Personal health data is stored in secure records. Records are secured by firewalls.
  • Secure Passwords: Passwords are given based on standards set by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Layered Access: Access rights are controlled by security.
  • Session Timeout: The logon session will end after a period of no activity.
  • System Review: The Web server is reviewed often. Security updates are made as they become available.

Encryption

We scramble all data moved over the Internet. We use Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) systems. This is supported with digital licenses. A trusted third-party called a Certification Authority (CA) oversees the licenses. A CA is a trusted online service. They operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and on a global basis.
